One of my favorite poetry magazines is Stone Telling, co-edited by Rose Lemberg and Shweta Narayan. I’m thrilled to report that my poem “Good Enough” will appear in their next issue of Stone Telling that centers around the theme of Body.

Summoning the Phoenix Will Now Be Available Spring 2014
My publisher Shen’s Books has moved the publication of my picture book Summoning the Phoenix from Fall 2013 to Spring 2014. While this definitely throws a wrench in my pre-launch planning, I think it’s ultimately for the best because now there is more time for better publicity planning. Here’s the stunning postcard designed by the fabulously talented April Chu, the illustrator of Summoning the Phoenix. My contribution was the minimalist text which allows her dynamic art to take flight.
